A little help.
A lot more confidence.
Packtricia started with a familiar question: “Patricia, what should I pack?”
Before there was Packtricia, there was Patricia.
I travel quite a lot, often for short trips. Each time, I found myself repeating the same routine: check the weather, work out how many clothes I needed, and ask my wife Patricia what actually made sense to bring.
Then came the other questions. Which plug adapter would I need? What currency would I use? What should I know before arriving? I would jump from one search to another, and still zip up my bag with the feeling that I had forgotten something.
Patricia was always the person who helped me put it all together. She made the practical side of a trip feel simpler. That is where Packtricia began—and where its name comes from.
A travel companion you can take with you.
I built Packtricia to bring that helpful feeling into an app. You tell it where you are going and when, and it gives you a packing list shaped around your trip and the weather. You can adjust it to suit the way you travel.
The details that used to send me searching belong alongside it: local currency, language, time zone, calling codes, emergency numbers, and plug types and voltage. A little preparation can leave more room to enjoy the place you came to see.
The help starts before you download anything.
This website is part of the same idea. Our destination guides share what to wear through the seasons, useful local details, and the small things that are easy to overlook. From a city break to a day at the Vatican, Packtricia is here to help you arrive a little better prepared.
You can explore the guides freely. When you want a packing list for your own dates and plans, the free iPhone and Android app takes the next step with you.
Useful, approachable, and made for real trips.
I want the free app to be useful on its own, without a subscription. Some features include ads, but the aim is to keep the experience calm and practical—the kind of companion you would want beside you while getting ready to go.
Packtricia is an independent project, growing one useful detail at a time. Questions, corrections and ideas help shape what comes next. If there is something you wish you had known before a trip, I would love to hear it.
